My name is April AKA the mother of all mothers! I have had the pleasure of teaching group fitness for the last 15 years in various formats! I hold an AAFA certification along with other group exercise certifications. I started with OTF in January of 2014 helping to open the South Chandler location. It brings me joy to see the progress that each of our members make on a daily basis! My true passion is being behind the glass, at Orangetheory coaching each person to become better than they were yesterday. When I'm not in the studio changing lives I love to hang out with my husband Russ and my beautiful kids! Come see me at either the Gilbert or Red Mountain locations! I look forward to meeting you!
Hey it's Elza, not Elsa, but Elza! I grew up in rural Arizona and moved into the Valley in 1997 to attend good ole' Arizone State University. I worked hard and received letters on the football team at ASU while my beautiful wife Kristin Fanning was on the ASU gymnastics Team. After our college careers we had 3 frickin' awesome kiddos: Channing, Champ and Chayton (they are our whole reason for existing!) I coached with the ASU strength staff for 1 year before going to the private sector in strength and conditioning in Mesa, AZ where I was for 6 years. I am thrilled to have found a home here at Orange Theory Fitness and I love working with the awesome clients and fellow employee's. Join me for a class sometime. I like to goof around and play a little rock music!
My name is Jordan Lewis and I am an Arizona native! I have been a personal trainer for the past seven years and have certifications in group fitness, and Olympic lifting. My interest in fitness began while playing sports throughout my childhood. I enjoy all forms of fitness and education, and Orangetheory has brought a new light into my training routine! My true passion is helping people to see what is possible so that they can not only achieve but surpass their fitness goals. Come talk to me about your goal today and I will get you exactly where you want to be!
Hi there! My name is Chael aka C-Train! Choo-Choo! I was born and raised in Arizona. I am adopted and my huge family is all about cooking! (my homemade salsa, spaghetti, and carrot cake are legit!) I enjoy playing pretty much any sport, all kinds of exercise, hiking, riding my motorcycle, being in the mountains, and water skiing. One thing about me that is no secret, I love music. I love to write and sing and when I'm not coaching my band and I are gettin' down! I dance when the mood hits, and I can play a little of most instruments. If you see me, smile and I will smile back!
Hi my name is Roman. I am originally from Alaska but I have lived in Arizona virtually my entire life. I was lucky enough to meet my wonderful and supportive wife here. My daughter Kynzi can probably lift more than you and my brand new baby girl Avree has her very own dumbbell rattle. It's safe to say that my girls are my world! I got into the fitness industry 7 years ago after battling with weight issues my entire life. After losing 70 pounds, and noticing the change in not just how I felt about myself but in my level of self confidence, I decided that I wanted to share that gift with others. I love Orangetheory Fitness and the opportunity it provides me with to impact the lives of so many amazing people. I hope to see you in my class to start your journey!
Hey I'm Rob AKA Thunder. I am originally from Chicago, but Arizona has been my home for about 25 years now. I graduated from Western Michigan University, where I spent most of my time playing college football. I am a certified in personal trainer in TRX, and multiple group fitness programs. I've been involved in sports and fitness all my life. Motivating, inspiring, and helping clients reach their goals is my career but the friendships I create, the family and the joy is what's kept me going for so long! Before finding my home at Orangetheory I taught spin and yoga. I incorporate all of my experiences to create one amazing class. Funny fact: when I joined Orangetheory my nickname was going to be "Chocolate Thunder" and for obvious reasons, we went with just Thunder! See you in class!
